No work will be accepted without wires.

The West Orange Arts Council (WOAC) would like to invite all our members, from the emerging artist to the professional, to submit work representative of historical or current day Black soldiers and heroes from all genders and any branch of the Armed Services. For too long, their valiant efforts, from the American Revolution to those in today’s military, have been overlooked. On display to commemorate Juneteenth, a National Celebration of Liberation, for this exhibit WOAC provides gallery space, marketing support (calendar listings, press release, social media, and email announcements to contacts). Artists are required to gallery assist at the West Orange Arts Center for a time slot on a Saturday (11am -4pm) and/or Sunday (12-3pm) to welcome guests. An artist’s presence connects us to our community and is a crucial part of exhibit operations. Choose your time slot on a Saturday (11am -4pm) and/or Sunday (12-3pm) to welcome guests.
1. ALL WORK MUST BE WIRED FOR HANGING! No sawtooth hangers.
Enter via Goggle forms. Submit a jpeg if you would like your work considered for promotion.
2. Pay Registration: $15 (with 2 hours gallery assisting); $30 (without gallery assisting)
3. Choose your preferred time slot for gallery assisting at SignUpGenius
4. Click here to Print and Fill out Form for INCOMING ART LOAN AND DISPLAY AGREEMENT and bring at time of drop-off.
5. Attach labels to the back of your pieces.
6. Drop off work: Saturday, June 3, 2023 11am – 1pm (Up to 3 items per artist)

7. Know that WOAC Commission is 25% of all sales
