Exhibit Proposals
The West Orange Arts Council (WOAC) provides gallery space, marketing support (calendar listings, press release, social media, and email announcements to contacts). All sales are handled through the WOAC and include 25% commission.
Participating artists must be members of the West Orange Arts Council (click here for membership >>> https://woarts.org/membership). Artists are responsible for being present at the West Orange Arts Center by signing up through a volunteer portal. Due to this obligation, group shows work best.
How to submit a Proposal DESCRIPTION: Give a short overview, 1 to 2 paragraphs, of your exhibition theme and ideal timeline for your exhibition and any other information that will help the committee in determining the feasibility of the show.
The West Orange Arts Council (WOAC) Exhibitions Committee reviews all proposals. Once accepted an agreement and inventory sheet must be filled out and signed by each artist and coordination of installation/pick-up, gallery staffing, and reception planning will commence.
