The West Orange Arts Council (WOAC) proudly marched in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, bringing a splash of creativity to the festivities. Our engaged volunteers and board members participated with a festively decorated car, while our vibrant mascots, “Creativity” and “Imagination,” dressed in paint-splatter bodysuits, entertained the crowd with their lively antics.

Participation in community events like the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is just one of the many ways WOAC fosters a connection between the arts and the people of West Orange NJ.
“Engaging with the community in public spaces like the parade allows us to celebrate the arts in an accessible and joyful way. It’s a reminder that creativity belongs to everyone, and we welcome all to be part of our artistic journey,” said Patricia Mitrano, Chair of the West Orange Arts Council.
West Orange Arts Council Board Member, Tammy Williams, said, “I had a fantastic time celebrating the West Orange St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday with the West Orange Arts Council! It was a beautiful day filled with community spirit, creativity, and tradition. Grateful to be part of such a vibrant and diverse town that honors its heritage while embracing the arts.”
