In this month of June we take time to celebrate the West Orange Arts Council and the 25 years that they have taken to cultivate and share the arts to the Essex County, NJ community. Over the 25 years they have held over 75 art exhibitions that have given many local artist’s the platform to share their art with the West Orange, NJ community.
“The beating heart of the all-volunteer West Orange Arts Council is the spirit of community. Now celebrating 25 years fostering the arts and artists in West Orange and throughout Essex County, the not for profit—over 200 members strong—serves residents of all ages and artists from emerging to professional in West Orange and throughout Essex County.”
“WOAC would establish a permanent home at 551 Valley Road in the same complex. There it holds frequent exhibits, receptions, film screenings, discussions, classes, workshops and children’s activities. The West Orange Art Center’s shop displays and sells work by member painters, fabric artists, jewelry makers, potters and more.”
