The West Orange Arts Council is turning up the volume this summer with the return of AMP’d in the Valley, an open mic and jam session that welcomes local musicians, singers, spoken-word artists, and creative performers.
Beginning Wednesday, July 15, from 6-9:30 p.m., the West Orange Arts Center at 551 Valley Road will come alive with original music, collaboration, and community where all are welcome to share, perform, or simply enjoy the talent in the room.
Whether you’re a singer, poet, musician, or just love good vibes, bring your voice, your instrument, and your energy.
The event is scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month through September 2026, with plans to evaluate continuing into the fall and winter based on community interest.
Performers are encouraged to register in advance to reserve a performance slot.
AMP’d in the Valley is more than a music event—it’s another opportunity to experience the growing creative energy of the Valley Arts District while supporting both the arts and local small businesses.
Guests can enjoy delicious food concessions from Humberto’s in the Valley, making it easy to spend the evening listening to live performances, meeting neighbors, and supporting two local organizations at the same time.
As a volunteer-run nonprofit organization, the West Orange Arts Council is hosting AMP’d in the Valley to help raise funds for the West Orange Arts Center and its year-round exhibitions, educational programs, and community events.
